Concrete Countertops

Welcome back to my design tips section. I would like to touch a little on Concrete countertops and some of the other uses for this wonderfully versatile product.

Homeowners and designers alike are discovering how to achieve distinctive looks using concrete in many different applications. One great use of this product is for sinks. Concrete can be shaped to fit nearly any application, and will fit any environment. Concrete can add style, grace and drama to any are of your home.

Another great benefit of concrete is the capability of making large sizes. Although “pre cast” or “off site” countertops do have a maximum size, they can usually be made in one piece. In the event that seams are necessary, they can be blended on site and become virtually undetectable. Remember concrete is extremely durable, and staining is not a problem. Even a hot pot off the stove is no threat to them.
